A strong proponent of the inherent good in this world and the belief that all craftsmen set out to do a good, honest and artistically pleasing job, Nishanth's focus ever since 2013 has been to facilitate and simplify workflows. Over his past experience of a little over 4 years in the field of self-perform execution, project controls, cost controls, document controls, change management and organization development in heavy civil infrastructure and ultra-luxury residential development, Nishanth has striven to eliminate waste and drive efficiency. Waste in various forms like under, over and miscommunication, unskilled, under-skilled and over-skilled workforce, excessive or inappropriate coordination, non-existent to arbitrary risk management, faulty procurement management, recurrent claims and arbitration etc. are some of the pain-points that Nishanth intends to address over his lifetime in the construction industry.
Being a strong advocate of continuous professional development and knowledge transfer, and to attempt to address a few of the above-mentioned opportunities, Nishanth has currently set out on a journey to pursue his graduate studies in Construction Engineering and Management at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign starting the Fall of 2017.
A sneak peek into his future professional aspirations for FY 2017-22, in order of priority are as follows: Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence application in the pre-construction, construction and claims/arbitration/litigation; Lean Management : Agile + Just-in-Time and incorporation of Block-chain in construction and project management;

Nishanth is currently actively seeking professional engagements in the form of Internships in the Summer of 2018 focused around Virtual design and Construction, Lean Construction, Risk management, Project controls, and Value engineering in all domains of mission critical civil engineering projects.
